What is Social Value?
Social value means the sum total of all the positive effects deriving from an activity, project, or intervention of any kind.
In terms of the construction industry, it is the additional value you add to a contract, over and above the direct economic impact that a project has (i.e. the income/revenue it generates minus the cost of completing it).
