Thrive is a secure enterprise-grade software platform for measuring, managing and reporting social value and impact, supported by expert consultancy and implementation support.
The platform helps organisations capture social value activity, community investment and employee volunteering, making it easier to measure outcomes, report progress and clearly demonstrate the impact they deliver.
Why we do what we do
Thrive was established in 2015 by Neil Macdonald and Benjamin Fellowes when they saw a gaping hole in the Corporate Responsibility landscape.
Neil, an accomplished environmental entrepreneur with extensive experience in the third sector, noticed that the difficulties in communicating social impact led to lost opportunities for companies to highlight their community and environmental contributions.
He teamed up with Benjamin Fellowes, a global tech entrepreneur known for developing successful tech businesses and marketing software used by millions.
Together, they created an intuitive platform that enables companies to capture social value, understand its financial benefits, and seamlessly demonstrate their impact.
Positive societal impact benefits both businesses and community. When organisations recognise these advantages, they are motivated to do more, creating a win-win for all.
The evolution of Thrive
At Thrive, we’ve built a community of brilliant customers and partners who support each other and guide our product evolution.
They exchange ideas and push forward the talk on the future of sustainability reporting, knowing that when we work together, we all thrive.
Beginning with Volunteer Management and Grants and Donations software in 2015, we quickly grew to include Employee Management software. In 2020, we unveiled the Social Value Reporting module, alongside the Impact Evaluation Standard, which swiftly became the go-to standard for organisations to measure the value of their impact.
Thrive keeps evolving with the procurement landscape, working hand-in-hand with customers, social value experts, and government influencers to arm organisations with the tools they need to boost and showcase their positive impact effectively.
